Lock and unlock from the interior with a thumb turn and unlocked from the exterior with a flat edge object (i.e. coin). The doorknob features a tubular chassis design and is great for light commercial and residential applications. The adjustable latch is compatible for doors with 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset and fits most standard doors measuring 1-3/8? to 1-3/4? thick.
